From the very small town of Albers, Illinois, meet Shannon Netemeyer. Shannon is a senior commercial music major who enjoys fall scented candles and being reckless. She is primarily a vocalist, but has found her passion in songwriting, which she hopes to pursue as a career. Shannon draws inspiration from multiple indie bands including Caroline Rose, Daughter, and Rainbow Kitten Surprise. Something you might not know about her is that she has been accidentally electrocuted more than three times! Guess that’s why her music is straight fire.
Mary Alice Roach
My name is Mary Alice Roach and I’m from Wayne, IL. I’m a Sophomore Commercial Music and Music Business major with an Entrepreneurship minor. I’ve been singing and writing songs since I was very young and I’ve always had some crazy big dreams. My ultimate goal is to be a pop star; to record, tour, travel and inspire people with music and positivity. I’ve always been passionate about spreading love and fighting for equality in all aspects, and my music is a tool to spread that message.
Isaiah Lopez is a senior Commercial Music major from O’Fallon, Illinois. A vocalist and a songwriter, Isaiah loves indie rock, alternative rock, art rock, post-punk, alternative R&B, dream pop…just a bunch of rock and stuff. Isaiah’s music draws inspiration from Interpol, King Krule, Radiohead, Steve Lacy, Tame Impala, and Beach House, among others. As for his future career, all he knows for sure is that he wants to create original music for the rest of his life, and hopefully he can make a living off of various music projects once he graduates. Isaiah’s somewhat fun fact is that he makes original music under the name of his hometown, O’Fallon!
